About Us
What Is IRL?
IRL blends endurance running with professional team competition. Teams of 10 runners tackle approximately 200 miles through rotating relay legs that vary in distance, terrain, and difficulty, creating a race where teamwork matters as much as fitness.

Steps to register irl
1. Sign Up
Start by creating your account as a runner or team manager. Provide your basic details, choose a username, and set up your profile. This gives you access to the Infinite Running League platform, where you can track races, stats, and team activity.
2. Join or Create a Team
Whether you’re an individual runner or part of a group, you can create your own team or join an existing one. Team registration allows you to coordinate strategies, communicate with teammates, and compete in team-based events for bigger rewards.
3. Secure Your Spot
Select the race you want to participate in, complete your registration, and confirm your payment. Once your spot is secured, you’ll receive all race details, resources, and updates so you’re fully prepared to compete.

Promotion & Relegation
Performance drives everything in IRL.
• Bottom 3 teams from Groups A, B, and C are relegated
• Top 3 teams from Groups B, C, and D are promoted
This system ensures fairness, rewards excellence, and keeps competition intense, every race matters.
Competition Categories
Teams compete within one of three categories:
• Female Division:
All runners are female
• Co-ed Division:
Minimum of 5 female runners per team
• Male Division:
Teams that do not meet Female or Coed criteria.

Race Format
Each team is split into two vans of five runners. Athletes rotate through their legs in a fixed order. Once all runners complete their first leg, the cycle repeats for legs two and three. This structure rewards smart pacing, strategic planning, and strong team dynamics.
Teams start in staggered waves, slower teams first, faster teams later, ensuring competitive racing throughout the course.
